The answer depends on your situation. Here’s how we handle website transfers:

If You're Joining Our Care Plan and Hosting With Us

Welcome aboard! If you choose to host your website with us as part of your care plan, we’ll take care of the entire transfer process for you. This includes:

Migrating your website to our hosting environment
Pointing your domain to the new server so your site goes live smoothly

We’ll handle all the techy stuff so you don’t have to worry about it.

If You're Moving Away From Private Practice Elevation

While we’ll be sad to see you go, we completely understand and wish you the best!

We do not handle transferring your website to a new hosting provider.
However, we can provide your new website team with access to your WordPress dashboard and backups to help them complete the migration process.

Third-Party to Third-Party Transfers

If you're moving your website from one third-party host to another (and we are not involved in hosting), we do not provide transfer support as part of our care plan.

However, if you're remaining as one of our Care Plan clients, you can provide a one-off task of two hours to cover the time our developers will need to perform the transfer.
