What Happens if My Hosting Provider Has an Issue?

Modified on Wed, 16 Jul at 12:19 PM

If your website experiences problems related to hosting—such as downtime, server errors, or performance issues—the first step is to contact your hosting provider’s support team directly.

If You Are NOT Hosted With Us

We do not contact third-party hosting companies on your behalf as part of our care plan support. Here's why:

  • Faster Resolution: Hosting companies have direct access to your server and can diagnose and resolve issues more quickly.

  • Account Ownership: Most hosting providers require specific details or verification that only the account owner can provide.

  • Backup Restorations: If your site needs to be restored due to a crash, your host will be best equipped to help.

For these reasons, contacting your hosting provider directly will get you to a solution as quickly as possible.

If You Are Hosted With Us

If you are on one of our hosting plans, we will handle any server-related issues for you. Just reach out to our support team and we’ll take care of the rest.

Still unsure who your hosting provider is or what to do? Submit a support request at privatepracticeelevation.com/support, and we’ll help point you in the right direction.
