While our Care Plans cover a wide range of website updates and maintenance, some requests fall outside the scope of standard support.
These larger updates often require more time and planning, and in such cases, we provide a proposal for additional work.
Examples of Out-of-Scope Requests:
Website Rebranding: Changing overall styles, fonts, colors, or redesigning major sections of the site
Ecommerce Setup: Setting up an online store, WooCommerce configuration, or product sales functionality
Advanced Filter Systems: Installing complex filtering for clinicians in a group practice or other advanced directory features
Hosting or Server-Specific Issues: Optimizing hosting performance or troubleshooting server-related issues
PHP Updates on Your Hosting Platform: Because of the risks involved and how different hosts handle software and backups, you'll need to contact your hosting provider's support for PHP updates
Third-Party Vendor Communications: Directly managing issues with hosting providers, email services, or plugin/theme support teams
Custom Development: Creating new plugins, modifying existing plugins, or adding custom-coded functionality
Large-Scale Content Rebuilds: Moving content to a new page builder, restructuring the website’s entire layout, or setting up a new site architecture
Graphic Design Work: Creating custom graphics, logos, or extensive image editing beyond basic resizing/cropping
How to Request Larger Updates
If you need assistance with a project beyond your Care Plan, we’re happy to help! Simply reach out to our team at wpsupport@privatepracticeelevation.com, and we’ll set up a time to discuss your needs and provide a custom proposal for the work.
Our goal is to ensure your website continues to meet the needs of your growing practice. If you’re ever unsure whether a request is covered, don’t hesitate to ask!
